To begin this little journey, it’s very important to lay aside all negative preconceptions, angers, animosities, and so on, in order to look at the evidence in an unbiased way.

Bear in mind that "proof" is subjective. It’s a collection of evidence. And the “convincibility” of the evidence will vary from person to person.

Proof stands or falls by how you assess the weight of the evidence.

Parts of this presentation rest on scientific fact that, in some circles, goes against popular belief - fair warning.

Does God Exist?

We’re looking for truth (let's not get bogged down in the classification of its phylosophical genre). Let’s just start with a clean slate.

We're going to aim for short answers, but with references for further research.

Believers have entered a new era. Following blindly is no longer acceptable. The search for evidence is heating up and the farther it presses, the more we find that science

validates the Bible.

Some evidence will appeal to your mind, and some will appeal to your heart. But ultimately, whether or not you accept the evidence . . . is between you and God.

You may even want to start by asking Him (whether you believe in Him or not) to help you with this.

Evidence for

The Spirit Realm

"There are numerous, well documented cases of people having near death experiences (NDEs) / out of body experiences (OBEs), even during a flat EEG where brain and heart activity have ceased, returning with factual information which they had no prior knowledge of, and numerous cases in which the experiencers returned to life with information unavailable to them at the time of death.." The scientific method requires all phenomena to be reproducible, provide verifiable details and undergo rigorous tests to rule out all the known alternative explanations, for a theory to be proven as scientific fact. Using the scientific method, near-death experiences have been proven to be a real scientific phenomenon because they are reproducible. (2)

For a person to have an NDE, his or her conciousness must leave the body in spirit. The following accounts and their links provide

evidence of the spirit realm.

Evidence #2 - A woman with a heart condition was dying at the same time that her sister was in a diabetic coma in another part of the same hospital. Evidence #3 - In order to remove a life threatening aneurysm deep in her brain, Pam Reynolds underwent a rare surgical procedure called “Operation Standstill.”

Evidence for

Heaven and Hell

There are numerous accounts of near-death experiences that provide evidence for the existence of the spirit realm. However, imperical data (scientific proof) is not available for the existence of heaven and hell. On the other hand, if the spirit realm exits, isn't there also a posibility for the places of heaven and hell? Here are some very compelling personal accounts from persons claiming to have visited one or the other or both.

Evidence #1 - Don Piper's account provides evidence for the existence of the spirit realm in that there were medical personnel who declared his body to be dead for a period of 90 minutes. His visit to gates of heaven is filled with great details of joy, seeing loved ones, hearing overwhelming music, and the wings of angles.
